His interests include child welfare, gender, children's identities, suicide and building capacity for social work research. Professor Elaine Sharland, Sussex University Elaine is Professor of Social Work Research at the University of Sussex. Her research interests include: children, young people and risk, knowledge production and mobilisation, disciplinary and interdisciplinary research development and methodologies. Dr. Sin Yi Cheung, Cardiff University Sin Yi is a Senior Lecturer at the Cardiff School of Social Sciences. She has published in the areas of inequalities in education and employment, sociology of education, the employment and health outcomes of children who had been in care and claimants’ dynamics. She is also known for her work on ethnic inequalities in the labour market in Britain. Dr. Morag Henderson, UCL Institute of Education Morag is a quantitative sociologist who recently completed her doctorate from the University of Oxford. Her research interests include explaining causes and consequences of social inequalities with a particular interest in family and education. She was formerly the full-time research on the Social Work Over Time project Dr. Meng Le Zhang Meng Le graduated in education and philosophy, did a Masters in social science research methods and then doctoral research on graduate destinations. He is especially interested in quantitative research. Dr. Paula Holland, Lancaster University Paula is a Lecturer in Public Health at Lancaster University and her research focuses on social inequalities in health, life-course research, and the impact of chronic illness on employment. Paula is providing consultancy to the research project on the development of in-depth case studies drawn from the cohort studies. Kat Deerfield Kat provided administrative support for the project. She has a doctorate from Cardiff School of English, Communication and Philosophy and is currently working as a researcher in the Children's Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE) at Cardiff University. |
